I am a non-fiction filmmaker and designer based in Oakland, California. I have worked on programs for PBS, Discovery, MSNBC, Reuters, the Smithsonian Institution, The John F. Kennedy Center, AFL-CIO, Marriott International, etc.
A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, my fine arts background has informed many projects using media in exhibition settings at the Smithsonian Institution, Whitney Museum of Art, Martin Luther King National Site, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, Denver Art Museum, etc.
I formed Dockyard Media in 2002 to provide script-to-screen services for clients. I also am collaborating with other producers as an editor, and that work is enhanced by my experience in production, scriptwriting, and motion graphic design. My tools are Adobe Premiere, After Effects and the rest of the Creative Suite, and I have a complete production package with a Sony EX3 camera.
